I’m Ms. Baker and I’m so excited to have you in our

1st grade class!  All the teachers at school have been working really hard getting our classrooms ready for everyone!

A Little About Me

I grew up in Homestead Florida and graduated college from Barry University in Miami Florida.  

I have been teaching for 25 years in Florida.  

This is my 14th year teaching in Manatee County.

I have 2 silly cats.

I love finding treasures at thrift stores and

turning old things into something new. 

My favorite story book character is Pete The Cat

My favorite baseball team is the Tampa Bay Rays

My favorite football teams are the

Miami Hurricanes and the Miami Dolphins
